Makes about 8 cups of lemonade.
- The juice of 2 lemons
- 3 ripe peaches, diced
- 1/8 cup coarsely chopped ginger, peeled
- 1-2 cups water. Start with one, see if you like the consistency, then add another if you’d like.
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Throw the lemon juice, peaches, and ginger into a blender and blend until you get a smoothie-like consistency. Add in the water and sugar and pulse again to keep the sweetness even. Feel free to add less or more sugar
If you want a more smoothie-like consistency, you can stop at this point and serve (which is what I did as evidenced by all the foam in the photo).
If you want a thinner, juice-like consistency, strain the lemonade through a fine mesh sieve and push the juice through with the back of a spoon. Discard the pulp, then serve and enjoy! You will have a little less juice, but that’s ok.
